I took these photos in Bruges a week ago, it’s my go-to place whenever guests come to visit in Belgium. It’s probably one of my favourite cities – It’s picture perfect! Have you ever been to Bruges? I would suggest visiting it in Autumn, it is absolutely gorgeous when all the leaves start changing colour.

So this week has been totally crazy and I haven’t got round to blogging! Sorry folks! Here’s to this week being over and having a fabulous weekend. I think the perfect way to start this weekend would be to have an awesome rooftop party. Unfortunately, I’m probably just going to clean my house! { Music on Meir }

Meir is one of the main shopping streets in Antwerp, from the best clothing stores to cool cafés and interesting street performers, oh, and a chocolate factory – how could I forget that! Above are some musicians who regularly perform on Meir. It just makes my day when I get to listen to such talented people performing in random places, like the entrance to Esprit! The guy with the piano – now there’s making an effort! Think I’ll be spending some quality time in this street over the weekend; hope you have a fabulous weekend too!

{ Today }

I have never been THIS excited about sitting on a couch! Eight weeks ago my husband and I moved to Antwerp, Belgium and although an airbed and two Ikea chairs have served us well, I cannot wait for our furniture that’s finally arriving today! YAY!

{ Urban Knitting }

On my way to the shops yesterday I stumbled across this display of urban knitting. It totally made my day! There is no way you can walk past it and not smile!

{ Just around the corner }

Well, the evidence is there that autumn is just around the corner. Though I’m slightly jealous that my southern hemisphere friends are heading into spring, there are definitely a few things I’m looking forward to. To name a few:
•  Beautiful coats
•  Knitted scarves

•  Tights and leather boots
•  Hot chocolate
•  Cosy blankets
•  Snuggling 

•  Warm comfort food
